Burial Place
He died, may Allah have mercy on him, midnight on the eve of Sunday the 9th of the Holy month of Ramaḍān in the year 1083 AH at the age of around eight-two. He was interred in the burial plot of his shaykhs at the top of the Maṭraḥ al-Janna graveyard (in Fes) behind and facing the tomb of Shaykh Sidi Muḥammad b.ʿAbd Allah. A building was constructed atop his grave by his student Aḥmad b.ʿAbd Allah, and his grave remains known to this day and has a wooden box atop it, and people visit it and seek blessings from it.
