Ask al-Quds about its history, the glad tidings will tell you
That its soil became the destination of the Night Journey of Tāhā.
From the Ka’ba, in the heart of Mecca to al-Quds,
The Lord of the Throne took the Elect on a Night Journey.
Al-Aqsa prides itself on the Prophet over the universe;
And his journey elevates its rank of honour to the heights of
Flying him over the clouds, a strong horse,
Called Buraq, that flies down like an eagle.
What a great glory al-Quds has had,
That brings back to our memory that event.
Indeed, it is right for any land on which Muhammad (PBUH) stands
To show off and become gold.
An abridgement of the history of Divine messages,
And an example of love and co-existence that pleases.
A land of peace that has been a source of guidance
Flooding with innocence and purity.
But when the enemy attacked it on one night
It was wounded, and it started crying heavily.
O the Ummah of Islam, listen as our Quds
Is crying out and hoping that Muslims will support it.
