رمضان أهلا
WELCOME RAMADAN,
مُحمد أبي الهُدَى اليَعْقُونِي

رَمَضَانُ أَهْلًا بِالصِّيَامِ وَمَرْحَبًا
قَدْ جِئْتَ بِالإِحْسَانِ وَالحَسَنَاتِ
O Ramadan, welcome fasting, welcome indeed;
you have brought good deeds and ample rewards.

شَهْرُ لَهُ تَهْفُو القُلُوبُ مَحَبَّةٌ
وَتَهُبُّ فِيهِ نَسَائِمُ الرَّحَمَاتِ
A month with which hearts fall in love,
and in which the breezes of mercy blow gently.

شَهْرُ لِمَغْفِرَةِ الخَطَايَا
مَوْسِمُ فِيهِ العِبَادُ تُسَاقُ لِلْجَنَّاتِ
A month that is a season for forgiving sins,
wherein people are driven toward Heaven.

طُوبَى لِمَنْ قَدْ صَامَ مِنْهُ نَهَارَهُ
وَأَقَامَ فِيهِ اللَّيْلَ بِالعَبَرَاتِ
Blessed is to the one who fasts its days
and spends its nights in tearful devotion.

أَدْعُو الإِلَهَ بِأَنْ يُبَارِكَ شَهْرَكُمْ
لِيَفِيضَ بِالأَنْوَارِ وَالبَرَكَاتِ
May Allah bless your month,
that it may overwhelm you with lights and blessings.

نِلْتُمْ بِهِ مَا تَشْتَهُونَ وَزَادَكُمْ
رَبُّ الوَرَى مِنْ وَاسِعِ الخَيْرَاتِ
And may you attain during it what you desire,
may the Lord of Creation pour onto you His bounties in abundance.
