Allah, Allah, succor us, o Messenger of Allah
O you of great rank, upon you be the blessings of Allah!

O slave (standing) at the door, hoping to kiss the threshold –
Strive hard to be granted the reply “Welcome, we have accepted him!”

(O Messenger of Allah) you are well known for generosity and entertaining guests –
I am in a state of worries and yearning – revive me, for the sake of Allah!

You are the most beloved (of Allah), the secret of the One Who Responds –
He will not fail who takes refuge in the Messenger of Allah.

O You who holder of the (Divine) Presence, I implore you: Give me glance,
O father al-Zahra, of al-Qasim and of ´Abd Allah!

O turtledove – rise and twitter with the daybreak
Gain me rewards, reply to (the call of) the Messenger of Alllah.

(O Messenger of Allah) you are the Elect, by praising you stains are polished out
Whoever loves you is saved from the Fire, o Messenger of Allah!

You are the beloved (of Allah) – by mentioning you my heart becomes good
He will not fail who takes refuge in the Messenger of Allah!
